Anti malaria drones - saves lives!
The people of anti-malaria drones flew in March 2018 in Western Kenya with drones over some rice fields which treat with a biological insecticide. In this way they want to show that the mosquito population decreases significantly after spraying. Before, during and after spraying, the density of mosquitoes (larvae) in the water will be measured and the effect will be examined over time.
A simple but important experiment to determine what the real contribution of this approach can be. After publishing the results of this study at the end of 2018 they want to generate more publicity for this large-scale and efficient approach to combating malaria with drones.
