What I do
Ik adviseer en coach bedrijven die oplossingen voor wereldproblemen ontwikkelen. Samen gaan we op zoek naar manieren om hun bedrijfsmodel te vernieuwen, zodat ze winstgevend kunnen zijn door écht bij te dragen aan het oplossen van wereldproblemen.
About me
I worked as an entrepreneur from 2018 to 2021, both full-time and part-time. Initially, I co-founded a women’s wear line with my then-partner under the brand SKIKK Tailoring, a made-to-measure suit brand. Later, I pivoted to L'atelier Radiance, a women’s wear brand inspired by the many tailoring options found in menswear. Radiance focused on creating a mindful experience in selecting fabrics and styling options to design the perfect blouse or suit. It was also a moment for women to reflect on important business meetings and goals. Radiance didn’t work in large ready-to-wear collections but with a ready-to-order approach, changing the traditional way of buying by focusing on the individual needs of customers. Sales began organically but were gaining momentum. During this pivot, I realized I needed to acquire more growth skills, so I started a growth hacking traineeship.
Now, freelancing as a consultant feels “new,” although I gained experience during my time at Sprints & Sneakers over the past three years.
There is a difference between internal and external drivers of positive change. I help both types of decision-makers within companies begin by making a positive impact using a structured process: Insights > Culture & Stakeholders > Direction > Making Impact > Communication. I offer various impact programs, starting with a one-month Impact Discovery, extending to six months or one year. The outcome of the first Discovery month is to answer the question: What if we put impact at the top of the agenda? How does it benefit the world and the organization? The answers from this initial phase also reveal the level of innovation readiness, which serves as the starting point for innovation and positive change. For example, one current client is experimenting with tech and impact-driven service innovations to reduce their impact (company-wide and client-wide) while simultaneously testing new propositions.
How I help customers
De metafoor die ik graag gebruik is dat ik een gids ben op een vulkaan. Je kunt misschien wel een app vinden die de route naar de top laat zien, maar je kunt ziek worden door de hoogte, de verkeerde afslag nemen of zelfs je water vergeten onderweg. Je kunt het zelf doen, maar ik zal je vertellen wanneer je moet vertragen of juist moet versnellen met betrekking tot je team en productinnovatie.
