As a Design Engineer I enjoy the journey that links the initial conceptual and strategic thinking with concrete solutions that make ideas happen. On my pursue to add value to a greater endeavour, I seek for solving the root cause of problems. Encouraging to re-THINK world dynamics, analysing the complex interconnected systems of our society, we acknowledge they shape our daily experiences. At the same time, being part of those Systems allow us to influence them to Change for good.
I have spent the last 10 years leading global Design projects for Packaging innovation at Unilever. Talking about that 1 millimeter that would make the investment possible. Leading teams in the business value of Design Thinking, I later became an Experience Designer (UX) for the vast diversity of F.M.C.G. Food Brands, empathising with real Consumers translating their insights into Smart Innovations.
All started on my way to get my Master degree in Mechanical Engineer in Buenos Aires. I was interested on HOW things work, while I orienting myself in Product Design. I started looking for WHAT are the things we design doing to make people happier? I was assistant professor asking myself WHY as a society we are measuring success not holistically. Nowadays I keep coming back to my former Universidad de Buenos Aires to give some lectures from my experience to the Design Engineering class. Then I became an Intrapreneur in Circular Economy aiming for Zero Waste.
We unnecessarily waste materials, we can waste our time, we may waste others people's talents and we waste many kinds of valuable resources. We tend to be blind to externalities that in the end are preventing us of being as happy as a flourishing society can be in an regenerative economy where waste does not exist.
