About me
After earning my Bachelor of Science in Marketing Management at the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences—where I wrote my thesis on steward-ownership—I am now fully committed to Generous Minds. I come from a family where hard work was always at the core: less talk, more action. While I’ve learned a lot from these values, I quickly realized that my ambitions extend beyond financial success. My passion lies in building a meaningful economy where sustainable and social impact takes precedence over profit maximization.
What drives me every day is the belief that, by working together and letting go of some of our (bad) habits, we can make the world a little better—step by step. I firmly believe that small efforts in the Western world can accelerate solutions to major global challenges. This requires a true "mental shift," and while change takes time, I remain convinced that it is possible.
At Generous Minds, I focus on guiding companies in their fundraising and marketing communications. I’ve had the privilege of working on inspiring cases like Wavepiston, SolarDew, Nextkidney, Landcent, and Oyster Heaven. Additionally, I see exciting opportunities to further strengthen and optimize our marketing communication—both internally and externally—to amplify our collective impact.
My thesis explored steward-ownership, an ownership model that aligns perfectly with my vision and that of Generous Minds. This model transcends traditional business structures, emphasizing sustainability, long-term thinking, and social responsibility. I strongly believe that companies play a crucial role in shaping a meaningful economy, and steward-ownership offers a powerful framework to support this transition.
In my free time, I’m always up for a good discussion about football—the most important side issue in the world. You can also wake me up for a deep conversation about life, preferably with a drink and a bowl of bitterballen. I recently found a home in the beautiful Hoorn, where my girlfriend and I love experimenting with world cuisines—cooking with ingredients we’ve never heard of. Oh, and I have a serious addiction to Italian ice cream… actually, to everything from Italy.

My approach starts with a careful pre-selection of suitable investment partners, assessing their specific interest in the company. In addition, I offer my expertise to social and sustainable enterprises in the field of marketing, sales and branding. My goal is to support them in realizing sustainable growth.
