What I do

I support entrepreneurs in realizing their growth ambitions. Navigating the world of investors and successfully raising funding can be very difficult, and I help them with that.

About me

For over two years I worked hard to build my own startup within the vertical farming sector. Together with a team of eventually 8 people, we worked day and night to develop a state-of-the-art indoor farming system. As CEO/CFO I was responsible for the overall organization, with a special focus on guiding the hardware development, securing financing and developing the overall strategy. We reached several major milestones: raised over €1.5 million in funding, hired 8 full-time employees and built and operated our demo farm for over a year. Unfortunately, mainly due to the increase in electricity prices during our €5 million Series A financing, we had to pull the plug on the entire company in October 2022.

My passion lies in working in an entrepreneurial environment with other entrepreneurs. Especially focused on the bigger picture, my financial knowledge can make a significant contribution to companies that want to grow their activities. I get a lot of energy from working with often young, but always innovative companies. I know the struggle of building something from the ground up and I have experienced first-hand how hard it is. Having the right people by your side is essential to succeed. I always hope to work with many visionary founders. Something that gives me a lot of energy and joy. Helping them build a slightly better version of our world, that is what I stand for.

How I help customers

Growth ambitions often cost money. I can help entrepreneurs by first getting clear on what their growth ambitions are, and more importantly, why. Once we have established this, we can start to draw up a timeline to achieve their ambition. With a clear timeline, it is then necessary to build an extensive financial model to see what their growth ambition will cost, but especially what it will bring to their company and its stakeholders.
