I'm studying Economics and Business Economics at Utrecht University, with a minor in Applied Data Science and a specialization in Finance. Two experiences have shaped me into who I am today.

The first was my time as a semi-professional middle-distance runner. A serious injury cut that period short, but this experience taught me valuable lessons: discipline, patience, and the power of measurable, incremental progress. I now apply these same principles in my studies, work, and personal development.

The second experience was founding a tutoring organization for high school students. What started as helping classmates grew into leading a small team—from developing curriculum and onboarding teachers to managing finances and building partnerships. That experience taught me to think like an entrepreneur: analyzing performance, monitoring budgets, and communicating clearly with various stakeholders. The key insight was that talent is universal, but access is not.

By mentoring students from diverse backgrounds, I discovered how small, consistent interventions—clear learning pathways, supportive accountability, and relatable role models—can lead to life-changing results. That's why I feel a strong commitment to education, inclusion, and entrepreneurship.
