Currently we are funding approx. €120M of our investable deal flow, where our Senior Investment Managers will lead the funding process towards successful deal-closing.

What will you do as a Senior Investment Manager at Generous Minds? 

You assess businesses using our 360° Covestment method (our own due diligence). You will work closely with the entrepreneur and another senior Mind with relevant sector expertise to prepare them for an investment. Once ready, you will lead the investment process, use Generous Minds' network and processes, and guide the entrepreneur from start until successful deal closing. 

 

Your responsibilities? 

• Identifying and analysing investment support requests 

• Lead the Covestment (our due diligence) with other Mind(s) 

• Preparing financing presentations/pitch decks 

• Creating the fundraising strategy, identifying potential investors 

• Reaching out to our current investors network and new contacts with support of medior Minds 

• Structure and negotiate funding rounds and term sheets 

• Support the legal documentation process until successful closure  

• Bonus: Help to build and refine complex financial models and scenario analyses 

 

Who are we looking for?  

• Impact-driven – in your daily work you want to contribute to a better, fairer world for everyone  

• Entrepreneurial – you feel most at home as an entrepreneur where you are connected in freedom to a collective of like-minded people 

• 7+ years of relevant work experience as an investment analyst 

• Proven track record in successfully closing complex funding trajectories 

• Financial literacy  

• Strategic thinker with a hands-on entrepreneurial mentality 

• Good communication skills in English 

• Bonus expertise in the following sectors: renewable energy, circular economy, social inclusion, healthcare, water, climate solutions 

• Bonus skills: experience with ICT/software like HubSpot, Octopus, Hunter

• Compensation: all Minds have their own B.V./ sole proprietorship and are member of Generous Minds cooperation. You invoice in the name of Generous Minds to the entrepreneurs you support. Every month you invoice to Generous Minds for the invoices that are paid by your clients. You can work on an hour fee or a project fee. For funding projects, we work on a no cure, no pay success-fee renumeration (85+% success rate).
