I love building (and growing) businesses and making an impact—truly making a difference for people.

After studying business administration, I spent 19 years in the maritime industry as a finance professional, working in banking, interim management, M&A advisory, and structuring debt & equity. I worked at a bank and later as a partner in a corporate finance boutique.

Then, I made a conscious decision to transition to impact-driven startups and scale-ups in the food industry. I have a deep love for food and cooking, and I wanted to create more impact. More than that, I wanted to be actively involved in building a company from the ground up—turning something small into a meaningful, future-proof business. Over the past years, I’ve had the opportunity to do just that at BitesWeLove. I still enjoy that journey and am now eager to support multiple companies in their growth.

In recent years, I’ve also immersed myself in personal development and collaboration—key ingredients for a company’s success. This new passion and knowledge are now an integral part of my work.

My strength lies in quickly understanding what’s going on, discussing it openly, bringing structure, looking at it from multiple angles, adding vision, and shaping a plan. I excel at connecting different stakeholders, financials, processes, and human behavior. I enjoy brainstorming, shaping a strategy, and staying involved to support individuals and teams in putting it into action.

I’d love to be involved in growth and transformation projects within companies. I get especially excited about food and the food chain, impact-driven ventures, and scale-ups. And if there’s an opportunity to learn from experts in team development, even better!
