What I do

I advise entrepreneurs on impact strategy and measurement. I also support entrepreneurs in financing processes in Europe and emerging economies.

About me

My career has been driven by the desire to contribute to an economy that prioritizes the well-being of people and the planet. My professional path has been shaped by a combination of anthropological research, impact investing, and an affinity for the food and agriculture sector.

During my master's degree, I researched two social enterprises: a farmers' cooperative in Italy with a direct sales market and a social and local supermarket in the Netherlands. In the many conversations I had with founders, employees, and other stakeholders, I discovered that financing often plays a crucial role in the development of social enterprises.

After my studies, I found my professional direction in impact investing. I worked for organizations that invest in impact-driven companies, both in the Netherlands and in emerging economies. Among other things, I worked on implementing concessional financing programs and setting up and implementing impact frameworks for financiers. As a result, I became increasingly convinced that it's not just about what we finance, but also how and why.

Since 2019, I have gradually increased my involvement within our family business. Based on a strategic process, we founded B the Change Investments in 2025, where I, as an investment manager, focus on impact investments in the sustainable food and agriculture sector.

My personal vision has been further shaped by experiences like couchsurfing, living in an eco-community, and participating in a food cooperative. Partly inspired by the book "Take Back the Economy," I view the economy as something we shape together. I believe that people have much more potential than they reveal in traditional roles as consumers and employees, and that empowerment and entrepreneurship play key roles in necessary system change.

The connection I feel with Generous Minds stems from our shared belief that entrepreneurship can be a driver of real system change. The steward-owned structure confirms that values are truly guiding principles for us, and collaborating with like-minded people makes your work more meaningful and enjoyable!
