My personal and professional development has been shaped by crossing borders: between countries, cultures, and legal systems. With Latin American and European roots, I learned early on that no region, economy, or society thrives in isolation. This conviction has led me to international trade and contract law, and to work where collaboration, trust, and sustainable growth across borders take center stage.

I am a partner at OBM Legal Consulting, an international law firm with offices in Rotterdam and Madrid. Through our network of partner firms in Latin America, North America, Asia, and Africa, we support clients with international transactions and with navigating legislation and regulations in various jurisdictions.

I am admitted to the Bar Association in Spain and the Netherlands and have over 12 years of experience advising companies, governments, and investors on international trade transactions, contractual arrangements, and collaborations. My practice focuses on transactions where multiple legal systems converge, including civil law and common law systems, and where legal certainty, compliance, and risk allocation are central. I guide clients throughout the entire process of international transactions: from initial structuring and preparation to negotiations, contract formation, and execution. For enterprises, this includes support with investments, expansion into new markets, and establishing business relationships with international partners.

For investors, I advise on market entry, assessing target companies, identifying legal risks, and structuring investments. Additionally, I advise on transactions involving government agencies, such as public-private partnerships and infrastructure projects. In this context, the emphasis is on contractual agreements that meet legal requirements and distribute risks equitably among the parties involved.

In addition to my practice, I am a PhD candidate at the University of Amsterdam. My research focuses on the legal aspects and contractual risk allocation of public-private partnerships and international infrastructure projects. This combination of practical experience and academic research forms the basis of my approach to complex international transactions.
