What I do

I advise entrepreneurs and investors and guide them through complex legal transactions or situations.

About me

I deliberately studied law at university and started working at a law firm in Utrecht in 2012. In 2015, that firm became the first BCorp law firm in the Netherlands. From that moment on, I unexpectedly came into contact with so many purpose-driven entrepreneurs and they inspired me. During that time, I also met Ronald Beuk from Generous Minds. At the end of our first meeting in 2019, we clicked and decided to work together, even though we didn't know exactly how and what we were going to do. I have been working with Generous Minds for years now, time flies when you're having fun!

In January 2023, I became a partner at my former firm. A year later, I started my own firm INC.LEGAL. With more than ten years of experience in corporate law, venture capital and finance, I and my colleagues help entrepreneurs see the bigger picture, manage risks and set up structures for sustainable growth. Whether it’s raising funds, preparing for a sale or navigating shareholder dynamics, We bring clear, practical guidance – and top-tier legal expertise.

In negotiations, I work side by side with Generous Minds and the entrepreneur to structure deals, lead conversations and close transactions efficiently and effectively – always with a focus on long-term success for all parties involved (win-win-win).

The legal rules of the game are the same for commercial business as for impact business, but since we speak the same language, this helps when guiding impact entrepreneurs through the maze of legal and financial negotiations. I am proud of my work for impact-driven businesses. I enjoy my work more than for typical commercial parties. I work best when I’m having fun, so I prefer to work for impact-driven businesses as much as possible!
